Sobha Developers Q4 net up 69.58%

New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) Realty firm Sobha Developers has seen 69.58 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 61.90 crore for the quarter ended March 2007, against Rs 36.50 crore over the same period last year.

Its total income registered a growth of 82.64 per cent at Rs 358.90 crore for Q4FY07 compared to Rs 196.50 crore in the same quarter the previous year.

The company's annual profit stood at Rs 161.50 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 increasing 82.48 per cent from Rs 88.50 crore for the last fiscal.

Total income witnessed a rise of 89.60 per cent at Rs 1,189.40 crore for the current fiscal from Rs 627.30 crore during FY06.

The board has recommended a dividend at the rate of 55 per cent subject to the approval of the members of the company, a statement said today.

The company had commenced new activities of metal and glazing works and interiors works last year.

Britain may need increased army: Defence Minister
