Kolkata, May 14(UNI) Ratnabali Capital Markets Ltd, a Kolkata based leading stock broking company, has reported a net profit of Rs 16.43 crore for the financial year ended on March 31, 2007 compared to Rs Rs 16.65 crore for 2006-07.
A company release today said gross profit was Rs 18.37 crore, whereas income from operations of the company increased by 114 per cent at Rs 945.86 crore.
The company attributed the excellent results to a substantial increase in the turnover and broking income. Ratnabali's Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs one per equity share to the shareholders for the financial year 2006-07 in their meeting held today in addition to the interim dividend of Rs five per share paid in the month of February 2007.
Ratnabali has been recently certified as an ISO 9001:2000 company.
