Parliament likely to be adjourned sine die on May 16

New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) Both the Houses of Parliament are likely to be adjourned sine die on May 16, as the Government has taken a strong view of the repeated adjournments forced by the Opposition during the last two days.

The Government irritation found expression in the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee(BAC) of Parliament held here today, sources said.

The issue is likely to figure in tomorrow's all-pary meeting.

In the BAC meeting. It was conveyed to the parties that the Government was not interested in running the session up to the scheduled date of May 22, if there was no substantial business to be transacted.

Sources said there was no negative reaction to the Government's suggestion of advancing the end of the current session.

China author, lawyers call for end to censorship
