Dharamshala, May 14 (UNI) A 33-year-old man committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling of his house in a village in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh today, police sources said.
Desh Raj, a mason by profession, had strained relations with his wife Sudha Devi and mother Manju due to his alcoholic habits and was living separately at Abdullahpur village in the district for the last one and a half years.
The sources said after his mother and wife left for the fields today he committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling of his room.
No suicide note has been recovered, the sources said, adding that his body has been sent for postmortem examination They said a case has been registered and investigations are on.
