Jammu, May 14 (UNI) Security forces today gunned down a Lashkar-E-Toiba (LET) militant in an encounter at Panchaal area in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The militant was identified as Tariq Hussain Wani Alias Abu Hamza, a resident of Breswana village, SSP Doda Manohar Singh said.
An AK-47 rifle, a magazine, 20 rounds, a pounch and large quantity of incriminating material was also recovered from the possession of slain militant, he added.
