Four peacocks found dead

Shivpuri, MP, May 14 (UNI) Four peacocks were found dead under suspicious circumstances at Rai village in Shivpuri district, forest department sources said today.

Intense heat was being seen as the reason behind the deaths, while some villagers suspected that the birds were fed poisonous seeds.

The bodies were sent for the necropsy, the sources added.

Washington, Dec 7 (ANI): A research team has stumbled upon evidence in a site in central-northern Italy that suggests that the area is the pottery center where the oil lamps that lighted the ancient Roman Empire were made.According to a report in Discovery News, evidence of the pottery workshops emerged in Modena, in central-northern Italy, during construction work to build a residential complex near the ancient walls of the city."We found a large ancient Roman dumping filled with pottery.....

London, Dec 8 (ANI): A collection of letters and manuscripts that illuminate the life and work of celebrated writer Oscar Wilde, apparently lost for more than 50 years, have been found by academics.The volume contains 50 handwritten pages, including Wilde's earliest surviving letter to his lover Lord Alfred Douglas, whom he called Bosie, which documents the start of his doomed gay relationship with the Magdalen College undergraduate in the early 1890s, reports the Independent.Douglas destroyed most of the letters.....
