Yesterday, Amol's elder brother Arup left for Nairobi to get more information on his younger brother.
Twenty seven-year-old Amol, who was the managing director of Parle Products, was on his way back to Nairobi in the Kenya Airlines' plane that crashed early Saturday morning with 114 on board including 15 Indians.
The Nairobi-bound Kenyan Airlines's flight KQ 507 went down near the town of Lolodorf, 90 miles southeast of the coastal city of Doula from where it had taken off after mid-night.
Son of Parle Products managing director Sharad Chouhan, Amol was a promising pistol shooter and a regular at the National Championships. He had won two team silver medals in the National Games in Guwahati early this year. He was married recently.
Amol was on a business trip to Africa and was supposed to take a flight back home from Nairobi.
