Lucknow, Apr 24: Training guns at the UPA regime at the Centre fordancing on tunes of the Election Commission (EC), the ruling SamajwadiParty (SP) in Uttar Pradesh today alleged the EC is mis-guiding theelection rules and regulations.
''The EC is a 'puppet' in the hands of the Central government.
The election rules and regulations were not framed as per thedirections given in section 324 of IPC. The EC is constantly insultingthe constitution and democracy.'' SP spokesperson Rajendra Chaudharycharged.
Alleging EC responsible for low per centage of voting in fourphases of the UP assembly polls, he said it is not good for democracyand President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam should take note of the matter.
