Mumbai: Silver up; gold down

Mumbai, Apr 18: Silver rose slightly while Gold fell in the opening session &13;today, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the &13;opening rates of Spot Silver and Gold: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade: Rs &13;19,980, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,395, Gold 99.9 &13;purity pure Gold : Rs 9,445.
