Avani to participate in Asian Junior Ice Skating meet in Hong Kong

Visakhapatnam, Apr 13 (UNI) Nine-time national roller skating champion Avani B Panchal would be participating in the Asian Junior Figure Skating Championship in Hong Kong on April 16 and 17.

Apart from Avani, four other Indian skaters were selected to participate in the event which will be held at the Festival Walk Glacier in Hong Kong, her coach A Pawan Kumar told newspersons here.

Her track record of winning gold, silver and bronze medals in Asian Roller Skating championship had made the Ice Skating Association of India to include her in the Indian team for Hong Kong meet, added Mr Kumar who was also appointed as coach for the Indian contingent.
