CLP meeting on Apr 9 to discuss leadership crisis

Itanagar, Apr 8: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Gegong Apang has convened a crucial Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting here tomorrow at his official residence for finding a solution to the ongoing leadership crisis.

Union Labour Minister Oscar Fernandes, who is also the party's North East in charge' would attend the meeting, Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President Omem Moyong Deori told UNI

No consular access to indians in Pak jail: Pranab

New Delhi, Mar 14: The government today informed the Lok Sabha that at least 92 Indian civilian prisoners in Pakistani jails have yet not been given consular access."Besides 390 fishermen and 149 civilian prisoners and 74 PoWs are still languishing in Pakistani jails," External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said in a written reply.The minister was asked whether the government had any reports of inhuman treatment meted out to Indian prisoners in Paksitan.The minsiter said Indian prisoners released by Pakistan had reported.....
