Chouhan to go for campaigning in UP on Apr 4

Bhopal, Apr 3: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will go &13;on a one-day visit to Uttar Pradesh tomorrow for campaigning in view of &13;upcoming assembly elections in that state.

Official sources said Mr Chouhan will address three election meetings in &13;support of BJP candidates in Uttar Pradesh.

Mr Chouhan will go in a private plane from Bhopal to Agra.

He would then go to Etawah district and address election meetings at &13;Jaswantnagar and Barthana. Later, he would address an election meeting at &13;Achhalda Vidhuna in Auraiya district.

MP Govt's policies responsible for power crisis

Govt doctors demand uniform retirement policy

Patna, Apr 3 (UNI) Dissatisfied with the state`s decision to enhance the superannuation age for medical teachers from 60 to 62 years, government doctors today demanded a uniform retirement age for all doctors. Patna Medical College Hospital(PMCH) Deputy Superintendent Dr Ashok Kumar hailed the decision, but added that the retirement age should be enhanced for both teaching and non-teaching staff. Meghalaya govt proposes to set up 4th Pay Commission

Shillong, Apr 3(UNI) Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister Donkupar Roy today informed the Assembly that setting up of the fourth Meghalaya Pay Commission was under active consideration of the government. To a query jointly raised by Meghalaya Democratic Party MLA Process T Sawkmie and Independent MLA Manas Chaudhuri, the Deputy Chief Minister said an additional expenditure of Rs 52 crore would be incurred annually if the proposed Commission was implemented. Stone quarries in eco-sensitive zone raided

Guwahati, Apr 3 (UNI) Two stone quarries in an eco-sensitive zone in Noonmati area of Guwahati were raided today. An Amsingh-Jorabat forest range official here informed that the raids were conducted following a tip-off. The quarries fall under the eco-sensitive zone of the area and had been functional for quiet a while, the official added. However, no arrests were made as workers in both the quarries had fled before the forest ranger team could.....
