BJP will be single largest party in UP: Shahnawaz

Gwalior, Mar 29: Bharatiya Janata Party MP Shahnawaz Hussain has claimed that the BJP would emerge as the single largest party in the Uttar Pradesh election.

''The BJP banner is flying over Punjab and Uttarakhand. My party also won local bodies' polls in Uttar Pradesh,'' Mr Hussain, who was here with an all-party team of parliamentarians, said yesterday in a chat with mediapersons.

Washington, Dec 27: Delaware Sen Joseph Biden, one of the Democratic party's leading voices on foreign policy and a sharp critic of President George W. Bush's handling of the Iraq war, said he intends to run for president in 2008.
