SSLC student run over by goods train

Hubli, Mar 22 (UNI) An SSLC student proceeding to the examination centre was fatally run over by a speeding goods train here today.

Police said Shilpa Rane (16) crossed the railway tracks enroute to the examination centre, but unfortunately her hall ticket and geometry box fell near the tracks. When she returned to pick it up, the goods train ran over her, killing her on the spot.

Jabalpur, May 16: The Madhya Pradesh High Court has directed 13 private dental and medical colleges to charge tuition fee, as prescribed by the Judges Committee, from students. WBJEE opens new control rooms for transparency in exams

Durgapur, Mar 29: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Committee (WBJEE) has changed the entire infrastructure of the exam system this year to maintain transparency in the admission tests. Announcing this at a workshop here today, WBJEE chairman Sidhartha Dutta said to conduct the examination systematically in all 193 centres in the state, the board has introduced four control rooms at Durgapurm, Midnapore, Siliguri and its headquarter at Salt-lake Kolkata. The heads of these control rooms will sort out any problem arising.....

Insurance cover for MP Board examiners

Bhopal, Feb 21: About 50,000 people directly or indirectly involved with the conduct of Board of Secondary Education's higher secondary and high school examinations in Madhya Pradesh this year will be provided insurance cover of Rs one lakh.
