Quake rumours claim life of a woman

Phagwara, Mar 22 (UNI) Earthquake rumours claimed the life of an aged woman at Khera village in Punjab today.

The deceased was identified as Pavittar Kaur (70). She was asleep and awakened by her son Harbhajan Singh when an earthquake alert was sounded from a gurdwara, according to family sources.

She rushed out of her house in panic and struck against an electric pole, receiving head injuries. She fell unconscious and was taken to a nearby private hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Ajmer, June 20 (ANI): Ajmer's famous annual Urs festival, dedicated to Sufi saint Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisty started here on Friday.The annual ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the historical flag and a 21-gun salute at the Sufi saint's mausoleum, declaring the start of annual festival."Today on the 25th day of the moon, the flag is hoisted, on the Buland Darwaza.
