Pune, Mar 22 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Assam, Meghalaya, some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka.
It was above normal in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Uttaranchal, Punjab, east Rajasthan, Madhya Maharashtra and in remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal in some parts of west Rajasthan and Gujarat. They were normal over the rest of the country.
Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Gujarat and south interior Karnataka. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and coastal Karnataka and were above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Konkan and Goa and in remaining parts of Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and of interior Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country.
Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and kashmir.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand and Bihar.
Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, interior Karnataka, Andman and Nicobar Islands.
Mainly dry weather will prevail over Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
