Aftek ties-up with Germany-based BDT AG

Mumbai, Mar 22 (UNI) Software-major, Aftek Ltd today entered into a royalty tie-up with a German data storage system provider BDT AG, wherein they will license the company's search technology for BDT's new data storage device 'Gingcom Appliance'.

''For each appliance sold by BDT, Aftek will be entitled for a royalty payment of about 250 euros. BDT is targeting sales of 50,000-70,000 Gingcom appliances through its own network as well as its OEM partners, Chairman and Managing Director of the company Ranjit Dhuru told mediapersons here today.

''Gingcom is an IT-solution, which enables organisations to find, restore and use every document created or received through email, only through a single click, even after years. It ensures that all PCs, notebooks, server, application systems, user data and profiles are automatically stored, doubly backed-up and are within legal compliance. The appliance was launched at the CeBIT 2007 held in Hanover recently,'' Mr Dhuru added.

Aftex, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arexera Information Technologies AG.

7 Iraq Al-Qaeda masterminds have entered Pak : Pak intelligence

Lahore, May 21 (ANI): Seven highly trained Iraqi Al-Qaeda masterminds have entered Pakistan, the country's intelligence agencies have revealed here.According to sources, the government has directed law-enforcement agencies to take immediate action against the militants to nab them.The militants are planning to train 'like-minded people' and target top government officials, including President Asif Ali Zardari, the chief ministers of the four provinces and intelligence agencies' officers and commanders, BBC Urdu reports.Embassies of non-Muslim and pro-US Muslim.....
