TRS walks out in AP House over alleged injustice to Telangana

Hyderabad, Mar 21 (UNI) The Opposition Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) today staged a walkout in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly in protest against the alleged raw deal given to the Telangana region in allocation of funds for development projects.

Dissatisfied with Finance Minister K Rosaiah's reply during Question Hour, former Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy maintained that justice could be ensured only when separate statehood was granted to Telangana and led his party members out of the House.

Earlier, the Finance Minister informed the House that the government was spending more money on Telangana than the revenue it was earning from the region.

The members need not have any apprehension in this regard, he added.

No injustice to Telangana region: Minister
