Students Islamic Org protest against Sex Education

Bangalore, Mar 21: Members of the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) today staged a demonstration here, condemning introduction of the sex education programme in all CBSE and State run schools across the country.

The demonstrators alleged that the sex education programme was introduced under the influence of UNICEF and western condom/contraceptives manufacturing Multi-national companies who view the country as a potential market.

They alleged in a press release here that SIO was convinced that providing sex education at a younger age would have multiple, harmful and long term consequences such as increased rates of infection with sexually transmitted diseases, increased rates of out-of-wedlock pregnancy and birth, increased rates of single parenthood, decreased marital stability, increased maternal and child poverty, increased abortion, increased depression and decreased adult happiness. Moreover, it would increase the girl drop-out rate as people in rural areas would not approves.

SOI demanded the State government immediately repeal the sex education programme from schools across the state.

Jailed UK terrorists plotting attacks via internet

London, Apr 14: Terrorists held in Britain are allegedly plotting new attacks by secretly contacting their supporters through internet, the Daily Mail reported. The serious security breach was revealed after the newspaper repoprted the messages on a ''private'' website linked to militant Islamic movement Al-Muhajiroun, which has been banned under anti-terror laws. The threatening emails were apparently sent from inside Belmarsh high-security prison in South-East London, which houses some of most feared terror suspects. It is suspected that inmates are sending.....
