Palimar Kitchens to expand network in TN

Chennai, Mar 21 (UNI) Palimar Kitchens has planned to expand its network in Tamil Nadu by opening 20 high class vegetarian outlets.

"Palimar's growth includes fine dining restaurants, quick service restaurants, industrial kitchens, presence in the food courts in major commercial complexes and IT parks and franchising the Palimar brand in the domestic and international market", Palimar Kitchens Private Ltd General Manager S V Rao told newspersons here today.

"Palimar aims to position itself as an ultimate destination for vegetarian dining in the country", he added.

These kitchens would be modern, transparent and be spread over 6,000 sq ft and would be built like that of flight kitchens.

"We are targetting to get over 10,000 meals per day", he said adding "the focus will be on quality and volume rather than cost".

Mr Rao also mentioned that Palimar's corporate catering today served companies such as Siemens, Bally, Nokia, Amazon, Ajuba solutions, Ford, Xansa, Lanson Toyota, Aviva and Pfizer.

"Working towards the objective of 'being ahead of times, at all times', Palimar partnered with the Lanson group for growth", he said. Palimar Kitchens today had a staff team of motivated professionals from the industry, headed by its CEO Thambi Radhakrishnan.

2 meditation schools planned for UK kids

London, Feb 13 (ANI): Brit kids will be taught transcendental meditation under plans to open two schools specializing in the technique.Pupils would meditate twice a day for ten minutes at a time in an attempt to increase their creativity and intelligence.According to the Times Educational Supplement, the plan is being developed by the private Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment, in Ormskirk, Lancashire, the only school in Britain specialising in transcendental meditation.The schools, funded by.....
