NCP-BJP candidates file nominations in Jalgaon

Jalgaon, Mar 21 (UNI) The NCP and BJP candidates today filed their nomination papers for Jalgaon and Erandol Lok Sabha constituency byelections in Maharashtra.

For Jalgaon Lok Sabha constituency, BJP candidate Haribhau Jawale filed his papers and for Erandol constituency Dr B S Patil filed his nomination.

The Lok Sabha by elections are scheduled for April 9.

BJP leader Eknath Khadse was present on the occasion.

The seats fell vacant after BJP leaders Mr Y G Mahajan and Mr M K Annapatil from Jalgaon and Erandol respectively quit following the exposure in the 'Money for Query scam' in Parliament some time ago.

Mr Vasantrao More of NCP also filed his papers from Erandol constituency today.

The Congress has yet not declared it's candidate for Jalgaon constituency.

The last date for filing of nominations is March 23 and the last date for withdrawal of nominations is March 26.

Kolkata, Feb 10: The Tata Motors today organised the second round of written test and interview of the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) candidates from Singur.Altogether 15 candidates, who had earlier registered with the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC), appeared for the test.
