Lucknow, Mar 21 (UNI) BSP supremo and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati will launch her party's compaign for the seven phase assembly election in the state from March 24.
Ms Mayawati will start her campaign from Aurraiya and later address some election meetings in Kanpur.
During the campaign for the first-phase election to be held in 62 assembly constituencies on April 7, the BSP leader will cover 12 places in six days.
According to a party release, on March 25, Ms Mayawati will visit Jhansi and Orai and on March 26 she will address election meetings at Etah and Mainpuri.
The BSP supremo will hold election meetings at Etawah and Modaha in Hamirpur district on March 27, while the next day she will visit Firozabad and Shivrajpur in Kanpur.
On the last day of her first-phase campaign, she will attend public meetings in Agra and Jaleshar in Etah district.
