New Delhi, Mar 21 (UNI) A Sikkim High Court Judge has been transferred to Guwahati HC and four Additional Judges appointed to Madras HC By President A P J Abdul Kalam, it was announced today.
President Kalam after consultation with Chief Justice of India K G Balakrishnan ''is pleased to transfer'' Sikkim H C Judge Ananda Prakash Subba as a Judge of the Guwahati HC, an announcement said.
Justice Subba has been directed to assume charge of his office by April five, the Law and Justice Ministry said.
It also announced the appointment of four Additional Judges-- Thiruneelakantam Sudanthiram, Kannaiya Veeraraghavan, Saminathan Nagamuthu and Shunmugavel Palanivelu.
The appointments in that order of seniority will be for two years each with effect from the day the Judges assume charge of their respective office, it said.
