CPI (Maoist) kills man for involvement with rival group

Chatra, Mar 21 (UNI) CPI (Maoist) ultras shot dead a man at the Datam village under Hunterganj police station after abducting him from Pandepur locality in Jharkhand's Chatra district last evening, police today said.

The police said the armed ultras kidnapped Manjit Singh and killed him for his alleged association with the rival outfit Tritiya Prastuti Committee(TPC).

The body has been sent for post-mortem.

Aizawl, March 13: A man was charred to death at his Central Training Institute (CTI) quarters in Sesawng village, about 10 Km near here, yesterday.Police today said 32-year-old Gilbert Lalrinliana, a doctor by profession, died after a fire broke out following a short circuit.However, a few sources known have alleged that the deceased had committed suicide.Police said an investigation is on to ascertain the cause of the death.UNI.....

Latehar, Mar 13: Three persons of a marriage party were killed and seven others seriously injured when a jeep in which they were travelling collided with a truck near Borsidag village under Chandwa police station in Jharkhand's Latehar district today.The jeep carrying the marriage party, including the newly-wed couple, was going from the state capital to Palamu when it collided with the truck that left two persons killed on the spot, police said.The other person succumbed to injury in hospital at.....
