BSNL employee ends life at Anand town

Anand (Gujarat), Mar 21 (UNI) A middle-aged Gujarat BSNL employee ended his life by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his residence in Station area of the town today.

According to police, one Jitubhai Dalwadi (40), who was working in computer section of the local BSNL office, committed suicide as he was suffering from a mental-illness.

His wife, Ritaben in her statement, has stated that her husband took this drastic step when she had gone to drop her five-year-old son at school.

On returning, she found the house locked from inside. She then broke-open the door with help of neighbours to find her husband dead.

Police has registered a case of suicide.
