UP: Labour Party (Secular) merges with SP

Lucknow, Mar 16: Labour Party (Secular) today merged with the ruling Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh.
&13;
&13; Party's president Bharat Singh Baghel announced the merger in the presence of Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav here.
&13;
In the 2002 assembly poll, the party had fielded 150 candidates&13;and received 1.5 per cent vote. However, none of its candidate had won&13;in the election.

&13; Mr Yadav said the merger will strengthen SP in the assembly poll.

Delhi master plan for houses by public, co-op sec

New Delhi, Mar 16: Master Plan for Delhi 2021 envisages the&13; development of different types of houses through public, co-operative&13; and private sectors, Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy told&13; Parliament today.&13; About 40 per cent of the housing need could potentially be&13; satisfied through redevelopment and up-gradation of existing areas of&13; the city and the remaining 60 per cent could be met in new areas to be&13; developed as urban extension, he said in a written reply.....

Geelani meets US embassy officials for visa
