Patni's members to approve FIIs limit rise through Postal Ballot

Mumbai, Mar 16 (UNI) Patni Computer Systems Ltd has informed BSE that members of the Company will consider to approve, by way of Postal Ballot, the special resolution to raise the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) Investment limit of the Company from 24 per cent to 74 per cent.

The Directors has appointed Taizoon M Khumri, Practicing Company Secretary, as Scrutinizer for conducting the postal ballot process in fair and transparent manner.

The Postal Ballot form duly completed Should reach the Scrutinizer on or before April 23, 2007. The Scrutinizer will submit his report to the Company Secretary after completion of the scrutiny of the postal ballot and the results of the Postal Ballot will be announced on April 25, 2007.

Telecom subscriber base reaches 202 mln in February

New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) The booming telephone subscribers base has further surged by 5.83 million to 202.74 million at the end of February as compared to 196.91 million in January this year.
