Mumbai-Nanded Nandigram Express to run up to Nagpur

Nagpur, Mar 16 (UNI) The 7605/7606 Mumbai-Nanded-Mumbai Nandigram Express will run up to Nagpur from next week and consequently be renumbered as 1401/1402.

According to a Central Railway press release here, the inaugural 1401 Mumbai-Nagpur Nandigram Express via Nanded will leave Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) on March 20, while the inaugural 1402 Nagpur-Mumbai Nandigram Express via Nanded will leave Nagpur on March 21.

The 1401 Mumbai-Nagpur Nandigram Express will Mumbai CST at 1635 hrs every day, arriving at Nanded at 0505 hrs and Nagpur at 1810 hrs the next day.

Similarly, the 1402 Nagpur-Mumbai Nandigram Express will leave Nagpur at 0600 hrs every day, arriving at Nanded at 1715 hrs the same day and at Mumbai CST at 0530 hrs the next day, the press release said.

The train will have halts at Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parabhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudkhed, Adilabad, Pimpalkutti, Wani, Majri, Warora, Hinganghat and Sewagram, the press release added.

Fire erupts in Nadiad Railway loco shed last night

Nadiad, Feb 21 (UNI) Two vehicles parked near Nadiad Railway Loco shed was gutted in a fire last night. One motorbike and a scooter parked near the loco shed was completely gutted before the fire brigade could put out the fire, sources said. However, no casualty or injuries in the blaze were reported, fire brigade sources said. Cause of the fire is not yet known. UNI.....

Two youths killed in road accident

Rajkot, Feb 21 (UNI) A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were killed when their vehicle was knocked down by a speeding Rickshaw on Liliya-Sanaliya road in Amreli district last night. According to police, the deceased --Govind Kanparia (25) and Vipul Dudhat (20) were returning to their village Sanaliya from their factory on motorcycle when the mishap occurred. The driver of the autorickshaw fled after the mishap, police said. UNI.....

Mobile phones and cash looted from shop

Surat, Feb 21 (UNI) Fortyeight mobile phones worth about 1.43 lakh and cash of Rs.18,000 were looted from a shop in Umra area in the heart of the city last night, police sources said. According to a complaint filed by Nareshchandra Jain of Bhttar Junction, his shop 'Pravina Point' in Sudhan Complex at Umra was looted by unidentified culprits. According to the complaint, the robbers broke open the shutter of the shop and to looted the valuables, sources said. No arrests.....
