Mastek appoints McCarter as President, US operations

New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) Software solutions and services provider Mastek today appointed Mr William S McCarter as the President of its North American business unit, MajescoMastek.

He holds a four-year long working relationship with MajescoMastek.

''Mr McCarter brings strong business leadership capabilities as well as technology and domain expertise in the insurance and financial services sectors to MajescoMastek,'' company's Chairman and Managing Director Sudhakar Ram said.

Mr McCarter said MajescoMastek has a very strong insurance domain expertise and it focusses on adding value to a customer's business.

Sankalpan bags USD 2 million project

Chennai, Mar 16 (UNI) Mumbai-based Sankalpan, an integrated realty and premium infrastructure services provider, has bagged a USD two million-worth interior fit-out turnkey project for Nasdaq-listed IT major Syntel in the city. Announcing this at a press conference here, Sankalpan Group Chairman Ninad Randive said the company would design a 700 seat facility at a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Syntel that would have the latest imported furniture, fittings and finish.
