GAIL-RIL sign MoU for Joint Co-operation

Mumbai, Mar 16 (UNI) Gail India Ltd has announced that the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) for for cooperation in gas sector.

The MoU was singed by Company Director (finance) R K Goel and Reliance Industries Ltd Petroleum President and CEO P M S Prasad in the presence of Company CMD Dr U D Choubey and other Directors.

In a statement here today, Dr U D Choubey said ''This is a turning point for both the Companies. It is also a reinforcement of the concept of working together in the natural gas sector. This MoU is the beginning of cooperation in the areas of pipeline and evacuation of natural gas from various fields.'' He emphasized on the need to synchronise activities of producers, transporters and end users and assured that GAIL would provide pipeline connectivity to Reliance gas fields within the shortest possible time.'' RBI to conduct survey on inflationary expectation

Hyundai takes hint from Maruti, ups prices across all models

New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) Taking cue from the domestic car leader Maruti, Hyundai Motors India today announced an increase of up to Rs 2,816 in the prices of all its models with immediate effect.
