Four members of a family killed in road accident

Mahboobnagar, Andhra Pradesh, Mar 16 (UNI) Four members of a family were killed and three others severely injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry tipper near Gollapalli vilage of Jadcharla mandal in this district today.

Police said the accident occurred when the car, proceeding from Adoni in Kurnool district, collided with a tipper coming in the opposite direction.

The injured were admitted to the Government Hospital in the district, police added.

Pouring water on nano-tube produces electricity: Sibal

New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) Scientists in Bangalore have found that electricity is produced by pouring water on nano-tube, Science and Technology Minister Kapil Sibal informed the Lok Sabha today.
