CSB acquires NFS membership to enable customers to use 8345 ATMs

New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) South India centric Catholic Syrian Bank (CSB) has become a member of the National Financial Switch (NFS), which will enable its customers to use 8,345 ATMs of 24 banks.

The NFS comprises of a national switch to facilitate inter-connectivity between the banks' switches, inter-bank payment gateway for authentication and routing the payment details of various e-commerce transactions, e-government activities etc.

The NFS network connects 8,345 ATMs, which is the largest number of ATMs under a single network in the country. It is run by IDRBT, Hyderabad, an autonomous body established by the Reserve Bank of India.

ICICI, Subhiksha launch food card

New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) ICICI Bank, India's second largest bank, in association with discount retail chain Subhiksha has launched Food Card, targeted as an alternate to meal allowances given to employees by companies. The pre-paid card will be accepted at all Subhiksha outlets and select restaurants. It is reloadable on monthly basis. Zydus Cadila acquires Liva Healthcare

New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) Cadila Healthcare Ltd today acquired 97.5 per cent stake in Mumbai-based Live Healthcare, a mid-sized pharma company with a Derma focussed product portfolio, for an undisclosed amount. The all cash transaction will be funded through cash accruals and debt, the company said.
