Motorola, Tata Teleservices to offer CDMA handsets

New Delhi, Mar 15 (UNI) Mobile handsets maker Motorola today inked an open distribution agreement with Tata Teleservices, one of the leading telecom service provider, to offer its latest CDMA mobile phones.

The new line of phones consists of Motofone F3C, Radiomoto W210 and Radiomoto W170, which will be available through Tata Indicom's distribution network.

''We will offer our new range of products through the large network of Tata Teleservices consisting of more than 60,000 retailers across the country,'' Motorola India Mobile Devices Vice President and General Manager Malcolm Dawe told reporters here.

Tata Teleservices CEO Darryl Green said, ''The agreement is an initiative that will further enable us to offer our consumers the cutting-edge mobile devices from Motorola.'' Motofone F3C is available for Rs 1,699, Radiomoto W170 for Rs 2,399 while Radiomoto W210 for Rs 2,849.

All the handsets will come with the benefits of the GO XTRA PACK, which will enable customers to avail double talk time for the first six months with bonus talk time valid for one year from the date of activation, Mr Green said, adding that the scheme also offers free incoming calls for the six months without recharge.
