Man held for murder attempt on ex-DMK councillor

Kancheepuram, Mar 15 (UNI) Police today arrested a 37-year-old man here this morning on charges of attempting to murder Former DMK Councillor Elangovan.

Police said here today Elangovan and Babu had previous enemity.

Last night, duo had heated arguments during which Babu took out a knife and inflicted serious wounds on the former councillor.

Elangovan was first admitted to the government hospital here after which he was shifted to Chennai for treatment.

Babu was arrested here this morning, police said.

Cybercheck is here, criminals beware

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 15 (UNI) Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAS) are all set to introduce the Cybercheck Suite, an indigenously built cyber forensic tool, to help analyse hidden data and prepare substantial evidence against those involved in cyber crimes. UPA hails Lalu's rail budget, oppn says J'khand cheated
