ITBP to launch recruitment drive on May 4

Gandhinagar, Mar 15 (UNI) Indo-Tibet Boarder Police (ITBP) is going to launch a recruitment drive for Gujarat on May four here.

There will be recruitment for 269 posts, of which 17 will be reserved for scheduled castes, two will be reserved for ex-servicemen of scheduled castes, 36 will be for scheduled tribes, four will be for the ex-servicemen of scheduled tribes, 66 will be for Other Backward Class, seven will be for ex-servicemen of OBC, 123 for general class and 14 will be for ex-servicemen of general class.

Young woman drowns in Vartak River

Nadiad, Mar 15 (UNI) The body of a twenty-year-old woman, who drowned in Vatrak River in Matar village of Khedia district, was found floating near Motipura village today. Police sources said the victim Meenaben Mukeshbhai Parmar was washing clothes when she accidentally fell into the river last Tuesday. Her relatives and villagers found her body floating near Motipura village this morning. The body was later taken to a nearby hospital for post-mortem, Police sources said. UNI.....

BSNL launches multiplay services in Pune

Pune, Mar 15 (UNI) Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today launched its multiplay content services for its Broadband customers in the city that would make available 100+ Digital TV Channels and Video-on-Demand (movies, drama, education, and world space radio). Inaugurating the service, Chairman and Managing Director BSNL, A K Sinha said the year 2007 is being celebrated as the 'Year of Broadband'. Mumbai-Nanded Nandigram Express to run up to Nagpur

Nagpur, Mar 16 (UNI) The 7605/7606 Mumbai-Nanded-Mumbai Nandigram Express will run up to Nagpur from next week and consequently be renumbered as 1401/1402. According to a Central Railway press release here, the inaugural 1401 Mumbai-Nagpur Nandigram Express via Nanded will leave Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) on March 20, while the inaugural 1402 Nagpur-Mumbai Nandigram Express via Nanded will leave Nagpur on March 21.
