Cairn India appoints Vann, Ginger for exploration projects

New Delhi, Mar 15 (UNI) Cairn India Ltd today named Mr Ian Vann as the Advisor and Mr David Ginger as Director for exploration and Rajasthan project teams.

Mr Vann, was earlier Group Vice President for Exploration and Business Development at BP Plc, Europe's second-largest oil company.

He will work with the exploration team of the company and also sit on the Rajasthan Project Technical Advisory Board.

Mr Ginger will take over responsibilities as Director of exploration at the company in the coming months.

He joined Cairn India in July last year from Amerada Hess where he worked as Exploration and Production (E&P) Manager for South East Asia.

Banswara bags Rs 20 crore export orders

New Delhi, Mar 15 (UNI) Banswara Syntex Ltd (BSL), a vertically integrated textile company, today secured export orders of Rs 20 crore to supply high-value fabrics, yarn and garments. These orders take the total export order book position of the company to Rs 60 crore and are to be executed in the next three months. Meanwhile, the company's Rs 220 crore expansion plans has progressed on schedule with installation of 16,000 polyester viscose spindles and 16 weaving looms and additional.....

Valued-added services for BSNL broadband customers on anvil

Gulbarga, Mar 5 (UNI) Public sector BSNL is planning to provide video, cable TV and other value-added services for its broadband connections soon, BSNL District General Manager V Srinivasan said today. Addressing a press conference here, he said BSNL would soon provide 2 MBPS broadband connectivity. Mr Srinivasan said BSNL would come out with pro-rural customer schemes, including landline connections without deposit of Rs 1,000 and installation charge of Rs 500 to improve the dwindling landline customer base due.....
