RITES Ltd gives Rs 33cr to Govt as dividend for 2006-07

New Delhi, Mar 14 (UNI) RITES Ltd, a Mini-Ratna Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, presented a cheque of Rs 33 crore as interim dividend for the year 2006-07 to the Railways Miniser Lalu Prasad here today.

The company's Managing Director V K Agarwal presented the cheque to the minister. This amount is 825 per cent of the paid-up capital of the company against total dividend pay out of Rs 20 crore (500 per cent of the paid up capital) for the year 2005-06.

The company since its inception IN 1974 has been making profits and paying dividend.

Universal Cables unveiles EHV base for Rs 90 crore
