Minor fire at Air India cargo complex in Chennai airport

Chennai, Mar 14 (UNI) A minor fire broke out in the Air India cargo complex at the Anna International airport here early today.

Airport sources said the fire was caused due to a short circuit in the electrical line leading to the airconditioning units.

On information, airport fire tenders rushed to the complex and put out the blaze.

The loss due to the fire was estimated to be around Rs five lakh, which included airconditioning units, computers and other assessories. No one was injured in the fire, the sources said, adding that a departmental inquiry has been ordered into the incident.

Each state will have one RCC soon: Minister

Centre to implement scheme to train rural sports talents

New Delhi, Mar 14 (UNI) The Union Cabinet is likely to clear a major scheme within a few weeks to identify promising sportspersons at the panchayat level and impart training to them, the Lok Sabha was informed today.
