Five killed in two separate accidents

Machilipatnam, Mar 14 (UNI) Three people, including two women were killed when the auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a lorry at Chilakalapudi near here today.

Police said the deceased were not identified and the bodies were shifted to the government general hospital here for post-mortem.

In another accident, two persons were killed, when the motor-cycle they were travelling on collided with a truck at Kanchikacharla in Krishna district late last night.

The bodies are yet to be identified, police added.

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 14 (UNI) Kerala Education Minister M A Baby today clarified that there was no leakage of SSLC question paper and the confusion was created due to a printing error on the packets, containing the question papers of Arabic Part-I. In the packets, containing the question papers, the subject was written in English as Arabic Part-II, instead of Arabic Part-I, thus creating a confusion that the question papers of tomorrow's exam had been leaked. KHDC draws up plan to face competition from textile mills

Hubli, Mar 1 (UNI) Karnataka Handloom Development Corporation (KHDC) is bracing to compete with other textile companies through a pilot programme and will also set up a market for itself, according to KHDC Chairman M D Lakshminarayana. UK Dy HC holds discussion with TN planning commission

Lorry runs over four people
