CISF ASI commits suicide

Visakhapatnam, Mar 14 (UNI) A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) allegedly committed suicide by consuming poision in the city last night, police today said.

T Someswara Rao (42) had a heated argument with a woman with whom he had an illicit affair. He took out a pesticide bottle and consumed the contents, police said.

The ASI was taken to the hospital, where he died, police added.

Hdyerabad, Mar 14 (UNI) Panic prevailed at the Bus Bhavan, the state headquarters of Andhra Pradesh State Raod Transport Corporation (APSRTC), here today following a bomb threat call which turned out to be a hoax. Customs officials seizes tobacco products for Lanka

Chennai, Mar 14 (UNI) The Customs officials have seized tobacco products, meant to be smuggled to Sri Lanka, from an export consignment at the export sheds of the Air Cargo complex here.
