Bangalore's first outlet to be fully automated using RFID

Bangalore, Mar 14 (UNI) Mysore based Orizin Technologies, a leading provider of RFID solutions today announced that it has implemented complete RFID retail system at Sakhi Enterprises, an exclusive women's boutique here.

The solution comprised of RFID based Point of sales, Customer loyalty card, Security system and Stock verification system, Orizin said in a relese here.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) was a wireless technology used for tracking and identification. It enabled every object to be networked and to be identified whenever required without the need of line of sight. RFID was touted as the next generation technology out competing barcode and EAS system in terms of benefits.

''We partnered with Orizin to help better our understanding of the stock movement and in the bargain integrate security so as to ensure better control over the retail business. The daily reports generated together with improved and easy stock taking renders a complete solution. Going forward we expect greater efficiency in stocking maintenance and intelligent management of the same'' Neeta Rajendran, CEO, Sakhi said in the release.

India-Singapore FTA ranks highest in utilisation rate

Singapore, Mar 14 (UNI) The Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) between Singapore and India had the highest utilisation rate of 68 per cent last year, up from 61 per cent in 2005 when compared with performances of Singapore's other Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). 'No intention to acquire private partners' stake'
