Applabs signs global partnership with Borland Software

Hyderabad, Mar 14 (UNI) Applabs Technologies, a software testing company, today announced that it has signed a global partnership agreement with Borland Software Corporation, the global leader in open Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

Applabs and Borland would jointly provide customers a comprehensive solution to requirements. The integrated solution would be designed to optimise the quality of business critical applications for key clients in banking, financial services and insurance sectors.

"The partnership draws on Applabs' expertise as an independent professional service organisation with a core competence in providing strategic testing solutions within these industries, further strengthening Borland's offering to the professional services sector", the company said in a release here.

NMCE launches 44 new futures contract, six new spread series

Ahmedabad, Mar 15 (UNI) Even as futures trading in 46 commodities and their derivatives expired today, the National Multi-Commodity Exchange (NMCE) is launching 44 new futures contracts and six new spread series with effect from tomorrow. The new contracts include gold, silver, cardamom, pepper, gur, guargum, isabgul, cumin seed, cotton seed, linseed, sesame, mustard/rapseed, groundnut, soyabean, coconut cake and their oil, crude palm oil, RBD palmolein, rice bran, vanaspati, moong, masoor and sugar. Rupee opens at 44.22 per US dollar expecting foreign inflow
