AIYF demands employment opportunities

Puducherry,Mar 14(UNI) Volunteers of the All India Youth Federation (AIYF) today took out a procession and held a demonstration in front of the employment exchange here to press their demands.

After reaching the employment exchange, they held a demonstration seeking to create employment opportunities, putting an end to backdoor appointments and immediate provision of unemployment doles to educated unemployed youths here, among others.

CPI national council member R Viswanathan MLA and party state secretary Na Ra Kalainathan inaugurated the procession at the Rajiv Gandhi Square.

More than five lakh appear for Kerala SSLC exams

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 14 (UNI) Over 5 lakh students, including 2.3 lakh girls, sat for the Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination, which began here today. Govt bears heart surgery expense
