Xerox to participate in 'IPEX South Asia' 2007 exhibition

New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) Xerox has announced its participation in 'IPEX South Asia' 2007 expo, which is scheduled to take place in the capital this year.

''For Xerox, 'IPEX South Asia' is a significant opportunity to demonstrate our commitment and portfolio to the graphic arts and production print industry across the country, West Asia and the rest of South Asia,'' Xerox Corporation Vice-President (Production Systems Group, Developing Markets) Valerie Thomassin said.

Exhibitors at 'Ipex South Asia' 2007 will represent all aspects of the graphic arts process, including pre-press, press manufacture (including digital presses, newspaper presses), post-press, converting and packaging, consumables and used machinery.

The exhibition will see the participation of over 80 international and domestic companies. The exposition will cover every aspect of the print process and unite the whole of the South Asian market.

The inclusion of Xerox and a host of other multinational companies reconfirm the standing of the IPEX as a major national and South Asian pan-regional exhibition in 2007.

''A pan-regional marketing campaign will target visitors with decision-making authority to visit the exhibition, free of charge, from across the length and breath of the country as well as Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka,'' Mr Thomassin added.

It also aims to attract senior buyers from markets like the UAE and East Africa`.

Visitors will be owners and managers of commercial, newspaper and digital and specialist print houses, Designers, pre-press and repro house personnel, trade association and professional representatives will also be targeted to attend the exhibition.

RAK Airways to fly India in May

Dubai, Mar 5 (UNI) RAK Airways, the UAE's fourth national carrier, will start flying in May under a new Indian CEO with destinations to India and Iran, a top official said. The airline will begin operations with two Boeing 757-200 aircraft leased from the Spanish carrier Iberia and fly to Mumbai, Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Bangalore, and Tehran, Isfahan and Bandar Abbas in Iran in the first phase of operations.
