Three arrested for stealing and selling copyright software

New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) Police have arrested three persons for stealing and selling software of a Greece-based software company.

The accused would hack the secret code and steal the CAD software, used for embroidery designs, of Wings Systems Limited, Greece having its office in Okhla in outh Delhi, police said today.

The stolen software caused losses worth crores to the firm.

Brothers Vijay and Ajay Sahni, residents of Gandhi Nagar were arrested during raids at their residence, while Raman Kuchhal, also from Gandhi Nagar was nabbed at the behest of the accused brothers.

The intricacies involved in breaking the 'security code' of the software required great expertise and search was on for the 'brain' behind the operation, police added.

Canecharge on dalit wedding procession, 3 police officers suspended

Chhatarpur, MP, Mar 13 (UNI) Three police personnel, including a town inspector (TI), were suspended after a canecharge here on a dalit wedding procession where a loud band was being played. About twelve people, including the groom, women and children, were injured in last night's incident. 12 held for violence in Indore

Indore, Mar 13 (UNI) Twelve people were arrested in connection with the clash between members of two communities in the sensitive Toda area of the city last night, police said today. Police lobbed tear-gas shells and used mild force to control the situation. Superintendent of Police Anshuman Yadav said further arrests were being carried out. He denied reports that police fired shots in the air. Report of explosion after the violence was also not confirmed. Violence had broken out.....
