Pakistani makes threatening calls

Bikaner, March 13 (UNI) A Pakistani has been constantly making threatening calls to a person here, alerting him about terrorist strikes in Rajasthan and Agra.

Om Prakash Jangid, a resident of Narsingh Sagar locality here, has lodged a complaint with the Naya Shahr police, saying he has been receiving threatening calls from a Pakistani on his cell phone, alerting him about terrorist attacks in Rajasthan and Agra.

The first call from Pakistan was received on March 6 and the second call on March 8. After that, the Pakistani has been giving him missed calls continously.

Quite disturbed and frightened over the calls, Mr Jangid decided to lodge a complaint with the police.

A police official confirmed that the calls on Jangid's cell phone were indeed coming from Pakistan but probably a mentally deranged person was making the calls.

The police is further looking into the matter.

Kerala to appeal in SC against Cauvery verdict

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 2 (UNI) Kerala today decided to appeal in the Supreme Court against the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal verdict. Charge sheet in disproportionate asset case served on Badal's

Ropar, Mar 13 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, his wife Surinder Kaur and son Sukhbir were today served chargesheet in the Rs 78 crore disproportionate assets case against them by a special court here. Serving the chargesheet, the court adjourned the case for April nine and ten.
