Kochi roadshow to find ''craziest cricket fans''

Kochi, Mar 13 (UNI) Cricket website sixer.tv kicked off a ten-city roadshow from here today to find out the ''craziest cricket fans''.

Mr Shiva Krishna, heading the Sixer roadshow, said the site had received hundreds of emails to participate in the roadshows, which will also cover the cities of Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune.

Sixer will select 12 ''craziest fans'' from the contest and the roadshows and the winners would be part of a game show to be aired on television. Cricket fans can cast their votes for the submitted stories on http://www.sixer.tv.

The winners would be announced during the World Cup semi-finals.

IIM-K to hold 9th annual convocation on March 17

Kozhikode, Mar 16 (UNI) The ninth annual convocation of the prestigious Indian Institute of Manangement, Kozhikode, will be held here tomorrow. J K Organisation president and chairman of IIM-Lucknow Hari Shankar Singhania would be the chief guest at the function, said an IIM-K release here today. After two years of hectic academic schedule, 156 students of the 2007 batch would be awarded the PG diploma in management at the function, it said. 60 delegates to attend IIM-K global meet

Kozhikode, Mar 16 (UNI) As many as 60 delegates from India and abroad are expected to participate in an international conference on 'marketing and society' begining here on April 8. The foreign delegates expected in the three-day event organised by the Indian Insitute of Management-Kozhikode were from the US, UK and the European Union, said a release here today. Agartala, Feb 23 (UNI) CPI(M)-led Left Front government wants to make Tripura a 'model state' in the country, Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has said. Inaugaurating the biggest ever warehouse in the entire North East, at Melaghar in West District yesterday, Mr Sarkar said the present government had taken a number of ambitious schemes for becoming self sufficient in food production.
