Cong demands discussion on communal tension in MP Assy

Bhopal, Mar 13 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh's main opposition Congress today raised in the Assembly a demand for a discussion on communal tension in the state's commercial capital Indore.

Raising the issue for the second consecutive day during Zero Hour, Mr Arif Aqueel (Cong) pressed for taking up a notice for adjournment and was supported by several party colleagues.

Urging the members to calm down, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani said, ''you may discuss the matter by meeting me in my chamber.'' Mr Aqueel boycotted proceedings yesterday over the issue.

Ahmedabad, Mar 3 (UNI) There is a major shortage of endoscopists and gastroenterologists in India, with only one-third of the medical institutes in the country providing such specialised courses. Doctors participating in 'Endocon 2007', an annual scientific meet of gastrointestinal endoscopy which began here today, voiced these concerns at a press conference. Nine killed in lightning strike

Rewa, MP, Mar 13 (UNI) Nine people, including two women and three children of a family, were killed after lightning struck them in separate incidents in the past 24 hours in Rewa district, police said today. Sudhni (30), Munnibai (35), Nirmala Bai (12), Radha (10) and Chameli (6) took shelter under a tree at Dubi village, 70 km from district headquarters, while returning from a 'Kanya Bhoj' programme when the incident occurred. Devkinandan (30), Kalbasia Yadav (35) and Chhote Tiwari died.....

National Health Assembly to be organised in Bhopal from Mar 23
