New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) British Telecommunications plc (BT), a wholly-owned subsidiary of BT Group, today launched -- BT Onevoice -- to overcome the technical and financial headaches of moving from traditional to 'new wave' voice telephony.
''Businesses see the benefits of IP telephony, but they also perceive difficulties. BT Onevoice addresses each of these issues and takes the fear out of moving towards new wave services,'' BT Global Services, IP Networking President Tom Craig said.
BT Onevoice has already won Frost&Sullivan's Business Development Strategy Leadership award.
The service fully supports BT's latest developments like BT Corporate Fusion and Managed LAN.
BT Onevoice Global VPN is available globally and being launched with key international customers.
It offers a number of features for its customers, such as a converged VPN, global reach, simplified access to BT's audioconferencing service and Onevoice Mobile Access.
