Airman cremated with honours

Coimbatore, Mar 13 (UNI) The mortal remains of Airman Ramkumar (21) who died in a fire mishap at the Agra Air Force Station on March 11, was consigned to flames here with military honours.

According to Ramkumar's father Shanmugam, his son joined the Air Force a year ago and after training at Sulur Air Force Station, was posted to Agra.

He was seriously injured in a fire accident last Wednesday. He died at the Military Hospital.His body was brought here by a special flight last night.

Chennai, Mar 14 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today changed his stance on the joint patrolling of International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) by Indian and Sri Lankan navies, saying it would not help to protect the Indian fishermen from attacks of Sri Lankan navy. Kalam offers Friday prayers at Fatehpuri Masjid
